Being part of the Hope Revolution means seeing young people gain confidence to communicate God’s love through what they say and what they do, and recognise their responsibility to declare the good news of Jesus.  May together we not ‘preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord’ (2 Cor 4: 5).

"How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent.  As it is written. How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news" (Rom 10.14-15). Whilst there may be lots of manky feet, we pray that they will be beautiful in the eyes of the Lord.

As Christians we have good news to bring, and good news is not intended to be kept to ourselves. Let’s encourage our young people to shout the good news of the Gospel from the rooftops that they may be effective witnesses of Christ. Let’s see our young people make some outrageous noise for Jesus, disturbing the quiet, and disrupting the apathy of those that do not yet know Christ. Let’s recognise that together with our young people "We are Christ’s ambassadors, as though God was making his appeal through us" ( 2 Cor 5:20) and in humility let’s see young people used to bring life and freedom as they declare the gospel truth to those around them.

Our prayer is to see young people’s light shine in the darkness. That they will "always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask us to give the reason for the hope that we have" (1 Peter 3.15).  Let’s see young people, use what they say, combat the enemy who has ‘blinded the minds of unbelievers’ (2 Cor 4:4). As we empower young people to  fight the good fight of faith may they put on the armour of God and choose to speak the word of God boldly.
